Our mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. We have created The Globe Pulsed Field System, featuring a strong, unique product with customer-valued differentiators. We collaborate with key opinion leaders who are already using our system and sharing our story.

Having completed our pivotal clinical study, we are now focusing on regulatory approvals and launching our product. This milestone marks a significant step in bringing this innovative technology to patients.

Reporting to the Firmware Team Lead, we seek a dynamic Medical Device Firmware Developer to join our collaborative and technical team, developing innovative software features for the Globe Mapping and Ablation System.

Note: This role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Burnaby, BC.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Requirements and design specification
2. Investigations of reported anomalies
3. Code inspections
4. Design, specification, and risk reviews
5. TDD/unit testing
6. Test platform and integration test development

Qualifications and attributes:

• 2-5 years of embedded programming experience, with a passion for coding and creating safety-critical systems
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team within a disciplined development process
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities
• Prior RTOS experience is an asset

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $83,000 - $116,000 CAD annually
