Job description

We are looking for Full-time/Part-time Medical Clinic Receptionists.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet and direct patients in an efficient and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate schedules to accommodate urgent appointments and initial triaging of patients
  • Assist with patient check-ins, collect, and update Patient’s demographic information and health insurance information, and ensure information in the electronic record is accurate and up-to-date
  • Scan appropriate documents into EMR
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as word processing, filing, copying, faxing and mailing
  • Helping with stocking and cleaning examination rooms/clinic
  • Other duties as required

Experience and skills:

  • Fluency in Vietnamese or Korean would be an asset
  • Previous experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in a medical office in Canada
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of clinic front desk operations
  • Knowledge of phone systems and handling patient inquiries efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Education:

  • Secondary (High) School Diploma or equivalent required
