Overview

The Patient Services Representative is a high-level customer service position that serves as one of the first lines of communication within the department. The representative is responsible for ensuring that each customer, patient, and coworker is treated in a professional and friendly manner. The main responsibility includes answering phone calls and responding to requests. This individual may also be assigned other projects as needed and is expected to complete these projects within a specified timeframe.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Minimum of one year experience in customer service.
  3. Six (6) months experience in a health care setting and office equipment preferred.
  4. Current BLS certificate.
