What you can expect when joining the team

As the Medical Billing Manager, you’ll co-lead our billing team, champion process improvements, and play a key role in both internal operations and client success. This hybrid role combines leadership, hands-on billing expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.You’ll support your own client portfolio while helping the team scale and succeed, all in a mission-driven, growth-oriented environment.

Your daily life

In your day to day, you will be led to:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Oversee a team of four billing agents, fostering high performance, accountability, and ongoing skill development through coaching, feedback and support.

  • Training: Deliver training sessions for both employees and customers to enhance understanding of billing processes and best practices.

  • Medical Billing: Manage end-to-end billing for clients, including claim preparation, submission, and reconciliation, to ensure a streamlined and accurate revenue cycle for physicians in British Columbia. Responsibilities include handling Out-of-Province and Third-Party claims, WCB cases, and working with EMRs.

  • Support Process Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance billing workflows to improve efficiency and profitability, in close collaboration with Operations Managers and cross-functional teams, including the RCM Product team.

  • Sales Operations Support: Act as the operations lead for the sales team, providing expertise and support to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new clients.


Your profile

Are you a proactive, results-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in driving operational excellence? The sky is the limit! If you have:

  • Proven experience in medical billing in British Columbia, or revenue cycle management, or a related field.

  • Prior team leadership experience.

  • Expertise in WCB claims management and regulatory compliance.

  • Ability to collaborate with sales and operational teams to drive business growth.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency

  • Proficiency with technology and tools, and a strong aptitude for data-driven decision-making
