As a Medical Advisor – Respiratory (COPD) at GSK, you will be a key scientific leader within Medical Affairs, shaping the future of our COPD portfolio in the Respiratory franchise. You’ll combine deep clinical expertise with strategic thinking to drive impactful medical activities and help bring innovative therapies to patients across Canada. In this role, you will: Be the Medical Affairs voice on the Respiratory cross-functional team, partnering closely with colleagues in Commercial, Market Access, Clinical, and other functions to deliver an aligned strategy and engage key internal and external stakeholders. Lead medical strategy for the respiratory IL-5 portfolio with a focus on COPD, providing expert input and guidance to support evidence generation, launch planning, and lifecycle management. Shape and deliver local research strategies, identifying and addressing data gaps and advancing the scientific and clinical understanding of GSK medicines through investigator-initiated studies and other research initiatives. Drive high-impact external scientific exchange, building strong relationships with the scientific and medical community through 1:1 engagements, advisory boards, medical education programs, congress presentations, publications, and congress sponsorships—and ensuring the “medical voice of the customer” is heard inside GSK. Provide trusted scientific leadership across teams, working with Canadian Medical, cross-functional partners, and global colleagues to develop and execute an integrated local medical strategy and customer engagement plans that optimize the use of GSK Respiratory products in the Canadian market.
