Job Title: Medical Administrative Specialist Instructor

Location: On-site at our Moncton campus, 1070 St. George Boulevard, Moncton, NB, E1E 4K7.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Start Date: Immediate

End Date: August 8, 2025

What you’ll be doing:

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of the Medical Administrative Specialist program curriculum. You will utilize a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Medical Office Administration/Procedures
  • 2 - 5 years ofexperience (2 years with relevant diploma, 5 without) working as a Medical Office Assistant / Medical Secretary in the healthcare environment.
  • Experience with medical transcription, terminology and medical software is required.
  • Training or teaching experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills.
