Job description

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting: Clinic

Tasks:

  1. Coordinate the flow of information
  2. Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material
  3. Schedule and confirm appointments
  4. Complete insurance and other claim forms
  5. Maintain filing system
  6. Order supplies and maintain inventory
  7. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  8. Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  9. Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  10. Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
  11. Provide customer service
