Description:

The Media Specialist will curate the camp’s public image and cultivate community engagement. They are responsible for visually capturing all aspects of camp, creating content to be used in marketing materials. They will use their vision and talents to convey the Camp Kee-Mo-Kee spirit and values to the community, generating goodwill and future engagement.

Skill Set Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Skill set and requirements as outlined for all positions.
2. Related education is an asset.
3. Talented photographer and videographer, with appropriate equipment and editing skills.
4. Familiar with marketing, design, and branding.
5. Able to engage others and create engagement in the camp and its mission.
6. Able to work effectively independently as well as collaboratively.
7. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Job Duties:

1. Minimum expectations and job duties as outlined for all positions.
2. Is an exemplary, positive role model and has a passion for camp programs.
3. Creates photo, video, and other media content.
4. Supports the production of the camp Newsletter, Magazine, and other marketing materials.
5. Sends camper pictures to parents/caregivers.
6. Is present during camp activities and meals, ensuring all programs and campers are represented in media.
7. Screens and edits photos and videos, ensuring campers without photo releases are not represented.
8. Other duties as requested by the Executive Director.
