Job Description

As a Media Planner at Zenith, your role is to develop performance-based media plans that deliver on client objectives, while ensuring that human insights drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for the full implementation of plans from strategic development to execution. You will manage, analyze, and optimize your campaigns to ensure delivery against key business and campaign objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze marketing, client, industry, competitive, and human insight data to determine the client’s advertising and media needs.
  • Understand marketing objectives and strategies, the human-product relationship, and the human-media relationship.
  • Analyze media alternatives and make multi-media recommendations to best allocate budgets across media, resulting in strategic and effective media plans.
  • Maintain campaigns: ensure quality control and adherence to overall media plan objectives and prepare campaign performance reports.
  • Utilize and have knowledge of syndicated media, research, and other data resources.
  • Clearly communicate media objectives, strategies, and executional guidelines to internal teams (Investment, Social, Programmatic, Precision, Apex, Search).
  • Present plans to the client brand group with the assistance of a Supervisor/Manager.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media suppliers and stay updated on market conditions.
  • Work closely with external agency partners.
  • Participate actively in account status meetings, both internal and external.
  • Assist in the development of POVs.
  • Participate in billing and financial processes, ensuring budgets are tracked accurately and client billing is correct.
  • Attend and actively participate in mandatory training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; preferred in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications.
  • 1-3 years of experience in media.
  • Experience in managing acquisition campaigns from start to finish.
  • Ability to independently plan campaigns.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, handle high workload, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in math.
  • Ability to utilize media research and reporting resources effectively.
  • Technical proficiency with media systems, PRISMA, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
