About the Role:
In this role you will take ownership of plan and budget data as it relates to assigned projects, the management of plan changes, and general maintenance of activity and its effect on all related outputs, including communication to implementation teams.
You will be responsible for negotiating, buying, and maintaining media schedules, ensuring that final buys deliver on the approved plan objective and strategy.
You will also provide recommendations on how competitive activities can be exploited to our clients’ advantage.

Your Impact:
  1. Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of media plan.
  2. Effectively uses industry tools to aid in plan development.
  3. Assist in developing plan metrics and responsible for analysis and related reports pertaining to KPIs.
  4. Prepare, check, verify, and issue analysis including ongoing maintenance.
  5. Assist senior team members in all phases of account/client management.
  6. Develop a deeper understanding of client needs and strategy.
  7. Analyze media alternatives to recommend how to best allocate the advertising budget.
  8. Facilitate competitive analysis as required.
  9. Play a key role in the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy.
  10. Write and maintain status and contact reports to ensure efficient workflow to meet deadlines.
  11. Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, industry workshops/seminars, and track current events.
  12. Responsible for stewardship and day-to-day maintenance buys.
  13. Communicate buy changes to vendor reps e.g.: cancellations, shifts, brand changes.
  14. Prepare, check, verify, and issue buying analyses.
  15. Generate and analyze campaign reports, including pre and post documents.
  16. Play a key role in the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy.
Your Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 2-3 years as a Planning and/or Buying Assistant.
  2. University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, or related field; OR equivalent professional work experience.
  3. Demonstrates understanding of media basics and concepts.
  4. Knowledge of Infosys and BBM.
  5. Working knowledge of Syndicated tools (PMB, Evaliant, DDS, Comscore, etc.).
  6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Ability to communicate concisely and clearly both orally and in writing.
  8. Buying experience on all levels (national & regional).
  9. Proficient with DDS, Infosys, and Microsoft Office Suite.
