The Media Planner will plan development for different campaigns, allocate ad budgets across various ad products, and manage ad inventory. This position is based in Halifax, NS.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
  • Manage overall ad inventory to meet advertiser campaigns and annual commitments
  • Develop strategic media plans tailored to advertiser objectives
  • Plan and scale campaigns across the RMN network in accordance with advertiser goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the RMN network, including sales teams and business divisions, to align on strategy, KPIs, and ad formats
  • Manage advertising budgets and optimize spending across channels
  • Use media expertise to recommend supplier allocations, audience building, and flighting strategies
  • Meet with suppliers to understand priorities, ensure campaign performance, and share updates
  • Develop processes for quick delivery of media plans, including audience sizing and inventory checks
  • Create outreach strategies for underserved or inactive clients
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and agencies for offsite media, including contract negotiations and planning

What you have to offer:
  • Experience in scaling budgets efficiently across various formats and channels
  • Hands-on knowledge of media buying platforms such as Pinterest, Meta, GAM360, DV360
  • Ability to develop strategic media plans based on audience insights and past campaign performance
  • Experience managing budgets across multiple ad products to maximize effectiveness
  • Forecasting inventory availability across ad products
  • At least 3 years of experience in media planning and buying at an agency
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience with email and e-commerce platforms is an asset
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana
