Victoria Park Personal Care Community in Regina, SK seeks a dedicated Medication Technician to support resident health and well-being by assisting with medication administration and providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

You will work closely with nurses and Resident Care Managers to monitor needs, document care in Progress Notes, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifikationen

• Health Care Aide (HCA) certification required.
• Experience assisting with medication administration.
• Proficient English communication (verbal and written).
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Maintain required state or provincial certifications.

Aufgaben

• Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and community information.
• Assist residents to self-administer specific oral medications.
• Document care in Progress Notes per policy.
• Communicate with Resident Care Managers/Charge Nurse per policy.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing Nurse/RCM of current needs.
• Observe and report resident problems and update records accordingly.
• Read logs and shift reports; enter pertinent information by end of shift.
