Job summary

Halton Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to join an evolving med/surg unit on a permanent full-time basis. You will assess, plan and implement care on an acute medical/surgical floor as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have Ontario RN registration, BCLS, and recent med/surg experience or telemetry training; you’ll thrive in a dynamic, patient-centered environment and contribute to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS certification required at time of hire.
• Recent general medicine and/or surgical experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement care on an acute med/surg unit as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Foster patient-centered care and active engagement in care transitions.
• Utilize telemetry and collaborate with physicians and nurses to modify care plans.
