Job description

Schedule: Part Time 24 Hours (8-12 hr shifts), Nights. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.

It handles acute and chronic conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Diabetes, Pneumonia, and others.

The unit is equipped with telemetry and safety devices, including bed/chair alarms and patient transfer equipment.

Within the medical unit are eight beds for addiction recovery, serving adults seeking voluntary detox for alcohol and opiate misuse, provided by nurses and medical providers including NP/PA.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSN required
• Massachusetts RN Licensure required
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Med/Surg/Tele experience preferred
• Adherence to I C.A.R.E. standards
• Evidence of analytic thinking for patient care
• Strong observational, prioritization, and stress management skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
