Job description

Schedule: Part Time 24 Hours

8-12 hr shifts, Nights. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.

6 North is a 36-bed private general medicine/telemetry, progressive care unit. It handles acute and chronic conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Diabetes, Pneumonia, and others. The unit features monitoring systems like telemetry, safety devices, alarms, and patient transfer equipment. Integrated within the unit are eight beds for addiction recovery, serving adults seeking voluntary detox for alcohol and opiate misuse. Care is provided by direct-care nurses, in collaboration with medical providers including NP/PA.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSN required
• Massachusetts RN Licensure required
• Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers required
• Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Adherence to all I C.A.R.E. standards
• Evidence of basic analytic thinking for patient care
• Strong observational skills and ability to prioritize
• Ability to work under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective skills in applying hospital standards, teamwork, communication, respect, and time management
