Job summary

Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd. (E360S) in Nisku, AB, is hiring for Apprentice Mechanic and Journeyman Mechanic roles to service our fleet of commercial vehicles. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across company assets.

Qualifications

• 2nd/3rd year Apprentice on-road mechanic.
• Valid class 5 License.
• 2 years maintenance experience considered an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in waste equipment and function is considered an asset.
• CVIP License or willing to acquire.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs of all Company vehicles/equipment.
• Perform services and repairs out of service truck.
• Perform preventive maintenance services.
• Ensure service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance to the provincial regulations.
• Additional duties may be required.

Position Description

We currently have an exciting role for an Apprentice Mechanic and a Journeyman Mechanic to service our fleet of commercial vehicles in our Nisku, AB location.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs of all Company vehicles/equipment.
• Perform services and repairs out of service truck
• Perform preventive maintenance services
• Ensure service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements
• Work in a safe manner in accordance to the provincial regulations
• Additional duties may be required

• Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritize work and material requirements and operate independently
• Ability to perform services and repairs out of service truck

• Ensure service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements
• Expected to play a leading role in implementing and promoting workplace safety and professionalism and recommend positive workplace change
• Additional duties may be required

Qualifications

• Red Seal
• CVIP certification or willing to acquire
• Class 3 license considered an asset
• Full understanding of all relevant safety and compliance regulations, policies
• 2 years maintenance experience considered an asset
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in waste equipment and function is considered an asset
