Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Mechanical Technologist to join the Retube Tooling team. You will support refurbishment or new build projects on site at Sheridan Park, reporting to the Retube Tooling manager.

The role focuses on maintaining safety, using hand tools, assisting in assembly and repair of nuclear tooling, and participating in testing programs. A diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a trade certificate are required, with 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 1-3 years of related technical experience and a certificate of qualification from College of Trades and Apprenticeship.
• Experience with hand tools and common shop equipment required.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience an asset.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics preferred.
• Computer skills—Microsoft Word and Excel etc.
• Must be able to demonstrate manual skills and dexterity.
• Effective communication (oral and written) and organization skills are essential.
• Must be “Team” oriented with a demonstrated ability to work well with others and promote a positive work environment.
• Security Clearance will be required.

Responsibilities
