The Mechanical Technician is responsible for executing production orders as part of the manufacturing build plan for aseptic filling products.

This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Operations team located in Burnaby, BC and will be an on-site role.

What you will do :

• Produce sub-assemblies and final assemblies to work instructions and engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment
• Perform product testing and machine configuration
• Follow and contribute to processes within a best-in-class manufacturing environment

Who you are :

You have advanced mechanical hands-on skills and over 5 years of experience building and testing systems

You can work in a complex environment identifying the correct processes to use, being comfortable working from written work instructions or engineering documentation.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

Working in the medical, aerospace, or other highly regulated environment

Have experience in lean manufacturing.

The salary range for this role is 56,700-81,300 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
