Job description

Our Client, an Oilfield Services company, is looking for a Mechanical Technician for their Lloydminster, AB location.

Responsibilities:

1. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
2. The Mechanical Technician improves maintenance-related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and enhances maintenance efficiency and personnel productivity.
3. Maintain assigned equipment according to the relevant maintenance program and ensure compliance with the reliability-centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work procedures.
4. Follow transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials, supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance history such as movements, work orders, parts used, and time spent.
5. Comply with TLM Product Line standards.
6. Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives, and plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
7. Engage in continuous improvement efforts to reduce asset turnaround time, including minimizing downtime due to maintenance, parts, failures, and work-in-process.
8. Support initiatives to enhance the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
9. Implement CoSD projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts.
10. Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
11. Adhere to the TLM Competency Management System.
