Job description

Our client located in Northern BC has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Supervisor.

Salary: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Effective leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  2. Knowledge of plant equipment, operations and predictive/preventative maintenance systems.
  3. Knowledge of continuous operation manufacturing process and improvement process.
  4. Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental requirements.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to use computer and supporting software for communication and analytical functions.
  7. Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
  8. Proven budgeting and financial analysis skills.
  9. Ability to read and interpret blueprints & P&ID schematics.
EDUCATION:
  1. Associate’s degree or vocational certificate in manufacturing operations or a related field Preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
  1. 4+ years’ predictive/preventative maintenance systems experience.
  2. Demonstrated supervisory or lead experience.
  3. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
