A family-owned company seeks a Mechanical Team Lead in Penticton, BC, to oversee project execution with an emphasis on quality and safety. The role includes team management, ensuring compliance with regulations, and travel throughout remote locations. We value community involvement and care for our teams with robust benefits.
As a Mechanical Team Lead, you'll ensure that every mechanical scope of work on a project is executed with precision and excellence. Reporting to the Mechanical Northern Operations Manager, you’ll be the one setting daily and weekly goals that align with the overall project schedule and plan, completing -week and -week look aheads, and leading the Mechanical team on site to meet project targets.
You’ll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work / rotations, travel in and out of various locations, work -hour shifts on average, and enjoy the comforts of home in well-maintained crew houses.
Your day-to-day includes connecting with the Mechanical Project Manager and Site Superintendent to align on key priorities. You ensure rough ins are done correctly, and materials and equipment are properly installed. Alongside the Site Superintendent, you monitor QA / QC, identifying and addressing any quality concerns. Another critical part of your role is reviewing sub-trade and supplier invoices for any discrepancies, keeping the financials in line with expectations.
