JOB DESCRIPTION

Redpath Canada Limited is seeking expressions of interest from candidates in the Red Lake area with extensive experience in mining occupations.

Rotation: 14 days on, 14 days off

Shift Length: 12 hours for workers, 13 hours for supervision

Allowance: Provided based on location

Travel: Provided based on location

Pre-employment requirement: Drug test

Qualifications

Mechanical Foreman

• Journeyman Certificate (421A) preferred
• 1-week Redpath Mechanical Foreman Orientation upon hire

Work Experience

• 7+ years as a Heavy-Duty Technician (preferred)
• 5+ years in the mining industry
• 2+ years in a lead role

Lead Mechanic / Mechanic

• Journeyman qualification (trade school or college diploma) preferred
• Journeyman Certificate (421A) preferred
• Minimum 3 years underground mechanical experience
• Maintenance experience on Maclean equipment, Cat and Sandvik scoop and haulage trucks, Sandvik Jumbos, including Split Feed and supporting equipment
• Strong organizational skills; welding experience is an asset
