Job summary

Brunel is partnering with a global technology manufacturer delivering advanced liquid cooling solutions for AI infrastructure, HPC, and data centres. We seek a Mechanical Lead to own the mechanical solution for Technical Cooling System infrastructure from concept through installation.

The role requires 10+ years leading industrial mechanical design, expertise in SolidWorks and Revit BIM, and the ability to mentor teams while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years leading industrial mechanical design projects.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and Autodesk Revit BIM.
• Experience producing fabrication and installation documentation.
• Knowledge of UL, CSA, ASME piping codes and seismic standards.
• Proven ability to lead design reviews and mentor teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete mechanical solution for Technical Cooling System infrastructure from concept to installation.
• Translate customer requirements into buildable, well-scoped engineering solutions.
• Lead mechanical design for piping headers, valve trains, tanks, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate external engineering resources and lead design reviews.
• Support prototype, commissioning, and product improvements.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance throughout lifecycle.
