Job summary

CIMCO, a leader in engineering and service for complex thermal building solutions, seeks an experienced Mechanical Estimator in Canada. The role involves preparing time, cost, materials, and labor estimates; collaborating with PMs, engineers, and subcontractors; and submitting competitive bids for HVAC projects.

Ideal candidates have a related degree, 3+ years in mechanical estimating, and strong knowledge of building codes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical estimating, preferably in HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Pay or shift range: $70,000 CAD to $80,000 CAD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
