Job description

Immiland Canada is recruiting for a leading industrial maintenance company with a decade-long commitment to serving diverse industries, currently experiencing rapid growth.

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician with a passion for the design, development, maintenance, and testing of machines, components, tools, heating and ventilating systems, geothermal power plants, power generation, power conversion plants, manufacturing plants, and equipment? Then we are looking for you!

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Assist in the design of molds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for use in manufacturing processes
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Prepare standards and schedules and oversee mechanical maintenance programs or operations of mechanical plants
  • Complete work orders daily
Requirements
  • Completion of a one- or two-year college program in mechanical engineering technology
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to multi-task, work autonomously, and as part of a team
  • Health and safety awareness
Additional Requirements
  • Please include a portfolio of your work, including tools, machines, repairs, designs, and installations you have performed in your labor experience
