What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate on Product Development: Work alongside design engineers on innovative product development projects.
  • Detailed Component Design: Assist in creating intricate designs for components and assemblies.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in designing and executing test plans to ensure product excellence.
  • Scope and Responsibility: Manage a detailed scope of work with varied levels of responsibility, tailored to your learning goals.
  • Exposure to Engineering Lifecycle: Engage with multiple stages of the engineering lifecycle, gaining valuable experience across disciplines.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Engineering Team to coordinate and implement projects effectively.
  • Technical Drawings and Standards: Prepare final working drawings, update the parts database, and bring existing files up to new standards under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
  • Component Specification: Size and specify mechanical components such as bearings, bushings, and pneumatic cylinders.
  • Problem Solving: Provide insights and assist in finding innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other key stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support any other tasks or duties as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with SolidWorks is a strong asset.
  • Skills:
    • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilities.
    • Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and experimental approach to engineering challenges.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively and understandably.
