Job summary

BBA Consultants in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, QC, Canada seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our team. You’ll define solutions, design components, and coordinate project implementation with staff and clients.

You will work with experts across multiple offices, including on-site client support, supervision, and commissioning of assets. English and French fluency, a valid license, and a drive are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; licensure with Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is preferred.
• Two to five years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• Advanced English and French skills to collaborate with BBA offices and clients in Canada and abroad.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Industrial sector experience is an asset.
• ASPConstruction card is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Define solutions and design technical components for projects.
• Coordinate the work of designers and project teams.
• Manage projects and monitor client stakeholders.
• Provide on-site support, supervise work, and commission assets.
• Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Draft proposals and identify business needs.
