Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation is a leader in design and manufacturing of specialized welding equipment. Our systems are used in many industries including nuclear, power generation, petro-chemical and medical. Liburdi combines expertise in control technology, machine design and welding processes to develop unique solutions to challenging applications presented by these industries.

We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Mechanical Engineering. The role of Mechanical Engineering reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Development of machine design from concept to detail.
  • Review of the design interaction with other machines and tools in a complex system.
  • Review of design compliance to technical specifications and requirements.
  • Development of technical documents such as drawings, test procedures and manuals.
  • Testing of machine performance and functionality.
  • Interaction with the customer, internal team and vendors to ensure schedule compliance.

Key Experience/Education:

  • Experience with Solid Edge or equivalent CAD software is required
  • 2-3 years of relevant machine design experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of CSA N299 quality assurance program an asset
