Join an innovative team where your ideas take shape in high-performance equipment. We are looking for a mechanical engineer ready to take on stimulating technical challenges and participate in creating customized solutions for our customers.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will play a central role in the development of our mining and hydraulic lifting equipment for heavy vehicles. You will participate in the design, modeling, and integration of robust, innovative, and customized solutions that meet the highest performance and safety standards in the industry.

This key position will place you at the heart of research and development activities, working closely with the engineering, production, and after-sales service teams. You will actively contribute to all stages of the development cycle—from ideation to production—in a stimulating environment.

Here are just a few ways you'll contribute to our continued success :

  • Design and carry out various development projects related to mining exploration drills (distributed worldwide), lifting systems, and other major projects.
  • Respond to calls for tenders in collaboration with the various departments involved, including technical drawings, sourcing suppliers for specific components, and subcontractors, if applicable.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to deadlines in collaboration with the workshop foreman.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to the project management team.
  • Plan and direct projects, prepare cost and time estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
  • Investigate the cause of mechanical failures or unforeseen maintenance issues.
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate bids for construction or industrial maintenance work. Supporting technicians during manufacturing and installation

Requested Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Advanced English (for communication with the company and some clients outside Quebec)
  • Strong technical drawing skills in Solidworks and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of hydraulics
  • Knowledge of finite elements
