The Mechanical Engineer will work within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team, supporting water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Nottingham branch.

In this role, you will:

  • Install, commission, set up, and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
  • Conduct site inspections, fault finding, and compile survey reports for quotations.
  • Interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors on wastewater sites.
  • Travel regularly, including overnight stays.
  • Occasionally work in our workshops across the country.
  • Collaborate with team members and other trades within the business.

About You

  • Valid current driving license.
  • City & Guilds qualification.
  • Recognized mechanical apprenticeship.
