Base pay range

CA$85,000.00/yr - CA$100,000.00/yr

TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for an INTERMEDIATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER for a Saskatchewan based opportunity to work in an EPC environment. This is a permanent position with our client.

Job Description:

• Mechanical engineering and design
• Hand calculations, finite element analysis, and discrete element analysis
• Equipment, fabrication inspections, and commissioning
• Maintaining project schedules and budgets, staying aware of project progress
• Design industrial and commercial mechanical equipment, components, and systems
• Field checking and verification at various shops or client facilities
• Creation and preparation of technical specifications, data sheets, equipment specifications
• Review and check drawing
• Analyzing problems and deficiencies, making assumptions and developing solutions to resolve
• Provide estimates for use on proposals and projects
• Project coordination duties such as tracking and reporting
• Establishing and improving client relationships
• Contributing to project reports, in collaboration with project team members
• Holding team members accountable for their actions and individual responsibilities
• Work at client mine sites and other client facilities
• Preliminary engineering studies
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered with APEGS, P.Eng. designation with ability to sign and stamp engineering documents
• 10+ years of experience of Mechanical Engineering
• Inventor, AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience is an asset
• Project management, Industrial and on-site experience
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to mechanical engineering
• Permission to consult in Saskatchewan
• Bulk materials handling and bulk storage bin design
• Experience with Slurry pumping and piping systems
• Experience with Mobile equipment, heavy industrial equipment, or mining equipment
• Fabrication and machine design experience
• People oriented with an ability to establish relationships
• Strong organizational and project planning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
