Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, is a licensed Professional Engineer with APEGA, and has 10+ years of experience in a plant setting, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in a plant environment.
• Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineer registered with APEGA.
• Exposure to rotating equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supporting major projects and optimization for plant and project implementation.
• Design reviews, field execution, MOC support, documentation update, closeout of documentation, cause mapping and troubleshooting of problems.
• Major equipment overhauls and upgrades.
• Make recommendations on replacements required.
