Your main responsibilities

Recognized for your technical expertise and rigor, you want to put your skills to work in a dynamic team? We are looking for a leader capable of supporting and guiding a team while contributing to large-scale projects. Here are your main responsibilities:

  • Act as a project director for multiple building mechanics projects, including sectors such as institutional, commercial, cultural, residential, and office spaces.
  • Serve as a technical reference in your discipline and resolve complex engineering challenges.
  • Validate the accuracy of pre-project studies, reports, and other engineering deliverables.
  • Coordinate human, material, and software resources, as well as various professionals, ensuring collaboration with other internal disciplines to deliver projects on time and according to priorities.
  • Meet with clients to assess their needs, prepare proposals and letters of intent, and establish budgets and timelines.
  • Ensure project follow-up in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their requests and feedback are taken into account while resolving technical and budgetary issues related to the project.
  • Manage contractual follow-ups and oversee the financial evolution of projects.
  • Act as a project manager, supervise budget compliance, and collaborate with involved resources to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Optimize service quality and productivity by implementing appropriate methods, procedures, and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of the mechanical department by participating in the standardization of technical and administrative processes.
Your profile
  • Hold a university degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Have more than 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Have knowledge of the commercial, residential, institutional, municipal, and industrial sectors.
  • Master the codes and standards governing building mechanics in Quebec.
  • Proficient in Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit software.
  • Fluent in French (spoken and written); English is an asset!
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit.
