Job summary

Creaform Engineering, a department of FARO CREAFORM, Lévis, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to contribute to projects across transportation, aerospace, automotive, and more. You will work on 2D and 3D design and drafting using CAD software to support client needs and product development.

The ideal candidate has a DEC or BA in Mechanical Engineering with 2–5 years of experience and proficiency in CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or Inventor.

Qualifications

• College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and product design.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
• Interest in AI tools and ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support client needs related to 2D and 3D design and drafting using CAD software.
• Contribute to projects across a variety of industries, including transportation, aerospace, automotive, and more.
• Adapt designs according to customer technical requirements and manufacturing constraints.
