AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Designer to contribute to hydroelectric facilities projects. Working with the Mechanical Engineering team, you will develop mechanical solutions, create 2D drawings and 3D models, and prepare technical documentation for both new builds and rehabilitations.
The role requires a college diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology and at least four years of relevant experience, with strong skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Working closely with the Mechanical Engineering team, the Mechanical Designer contributes to the design, integration, and drafting of mechanical equipment and systems for hydroelectric facilities, supporting both new construction projects and the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure. Projects primarily involve heavy mechanical equipment, including gates, hoists, and auxiliary piping systems (water, air, and oil).
