AECOM in Canada is seeking a Mechanical Designer to contribute to the design, integration, and drafting of mechanical equipment and systems for hydroelectric facilities, supporting both new construction and rehabilitation projects.
You will produce 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical support through fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.

Working closely with the Mechanical Engineering team, the Mechanical Designer contributes to the design, integration, and drafting of mechanical equipment and systems for hydroelectric facilities, supporting both new construction projects and the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure. Projects primarily involve heavy mechanical equipment, including gates, hoists, and auxiliary piping systems (water, air, and oil).
