Role: Mechanical Engineer – Building Systems (HVAC)
Location: Relocation to London, Ontario
Salary: $80k + (Based on Experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Designer to join our client's dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for various building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You will collaborate closely with architects, electrical engineers, and other professionals to deliver high-quality designs that meet client expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
  • Utilize Revit and other design software to develop detailed mechanical plans and drawings.
  • Perform load calculations, equipment selections, and energy modeling to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and compliance with design specifications.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in building mechanical systems design, with a focus on HVAC and plumbing.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HAP
  • Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, local building codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with PEO
