About The Role

Our Vancouver Team is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects, focusing on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will leverage their experience to provide solutions for a diverse clientele, including multinational industry leaders. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  1. Participating in preparing detailed plans, calculations, and specifications for various engineering projects
  2. Preparing proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for mechanical and multidisciplinary projects
  3. Analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing updates to internal staff and clients
  4. Participating in QA/QC reviews during the design process for assigned and ongoing projects
  5. Assisting in developing engineering calculations for mechanical applications
  6. Preparing detailed engineering reports on project progress and completion
  7. Assisting in field surveys throughout the project lifecycle
  8. Analyzing data, preparing reports, and delivering presentations to KOA staff and clients
About You
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering design
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Annual salary ranging from $76,000 to $96,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. Potential for indefinite employment.
