Overview

Are you ready to bring your mechanical design skills to life on innovative building projects? WSP is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Intermediate Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic Mechanical Buildings team in Vancouver.

What you can expect to do here
  • Work with senior staff in the development of drawing packages
  • Design HVAC and Building Automation systems, plumbing and fire-protection systems
  • Analysis of the building's heating, ventilation, and cooling loads
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Some field work during initial site investigation and follow-up with contractor installation
What you'll bring to WSP
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Proven working knowledge with AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Demonstrated understanding of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC layouts
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Must have proven record of working collaboratively in a team environment
  • LEED accreditation and Passive House Certification is an asset
Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $80,800 to $111,100
