Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Proven working knowledge with AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC layouts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must have proven record of working collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Design HVAC and Building Automation systems, plumbing and fire-protection systems.
  • Analysis of the building’s heating, ventilation, and cooling loads.
  • Perform engineering calculations.
  • Some field work during initial site investigation and follow-up with contractor installation.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Revit;

  • LEED accreditation and Passive House Certification is an asset

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $80,800 to $111,100

WSP Canada is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it will pay for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to the specific geographic location.
