Base pay range

CA$75,000.00/yr - CA$90,000.00/yr

Head of Talent Acquisition Department at TMC North America

The role involves the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components for antennas, payloads, or space electronics units;
• Understand customer requirements;
• Propose concepts that meet requirements;
• Select/design components to meet constraints;
• Integrate concepts from electrical, materials, structural and thermal engineering disciplines into a 3D model;
• Develop/review manufacturing drawings, assembly and parts lists;
• Evaluate system costs, establish schedules;
• Monitor activities of component suppliers;
• Support integration and testing of components into higher-level assemblies (during design and manufacturing phases);
• Present concepts to the customer.

What do we expect from you?

The minimum required skills necessary for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design;
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing, drawing standards;
• CAD design skills (NX, Creo or Catia);
• Knowledge of the space industry;
• Knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
