Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
Create detailed mechanical designs for cosmetic displays using CAD software. Develop innovative solutions for plastic injection molding and sheet metal fabrication. Ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and manufacturability requirements. Utilize knowledge of plastic injection molding processes to design components that are cost-effective and manufacturable. Apply sheet metal fabrication techniques to create durable and visually appealing display structures. Conduct feasibility studies and material selection for new projects. Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and optimize production processes. Implement design changes based on test results and feedback from stakeholders. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for production. Maintain accurate records of design iterations and project progress. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.

Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment with an 8-5 pm shift. The engineer will have their own design station and will spend time on the shop floor to interface with assembly and production staff. Pay and Benefits
