Responsibilities:

CAD Drafting / Document Coordination

  • Develop production and assembly drawings, parts lists, and bills of material from engineering sketches and contract specifications.
  • Printing, filing, storage, issuing, maintaining drawing register and files, tracking of production drawings and sketches, and all related engineering documentation.
  • Ensure the timely creation and action on any and all required non-conformances identified on manufactured or purchased products.

Mechanical Design and Project Management

  • Assisting with the design of various mechanical components and systems as required. This can include, but is not limited to machine design, stress analysis, pressure vessel design, rotor dynamic design and analysis, thermodynamics, heat transfer, etc.
  • Responsible for staying up to date on industry-specific codes (Draftings, CAD, ASME, ANSI, API, DIN, ISO, etc.) which will from time to time need to be referenced during the engineering design, drafting, manufacturing, assembly, and testing functions.
  • Checking/review of designs, sketches, drawings manufacturing details with engineering production and the customer required to ensure products meet contract requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Review and adhere to all Company management systems, procedures, and policies (e.g., Quality, HSE, etc.).
  • Required to participate in all mandated workplace quality, health, safety, and environmental training.
  • Report any hazards, injuries, or near misses to management.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on eliminating repeat mistakes and ensuring accuracy.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of managing and/or switching from one task to another in a fluid environment.
  • Carrying-through of special tasks and/or eventual collaboration in project groups and/or fixing of important guidelines.
  • Work well within a team including customers, suppliers, engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel and be able to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Must operate with a "sense of urgency" and be flexible with scheduling to meet customer needs.
