Job summary

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Working day: Monday - Friday
Working Hour: 830am - 5:30pm
Salary range: $4,000 - $5,400 (depend on experience)
Location: Woodlands Ave (Nearest Mrt: Admiralty)

We are seeking a skilled Automation Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team focused on Mechanical Design of automation equipment for electronics industry such as Semi-con and Printed circuit board, and other customized factory automation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with Project Manager and customer to understand design requirements and specifications for the product.
  • Analyse project requirements and participate in concept generation.
  • Design high precision and high-tech automation equipment.
  • Selection of standard components such as sensor, pneumatic, motor, servo axis and robotics.
  • BOM preparation using SAP.
  • Coordinate with fabrication house and component suppliers.
  • Report project progress to Project Manager and superior.
  • Guide assembly technicians to build and test the equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or related field preferred.
  • Min 6 years of relevant experience in automation equipment design.
  • Knowledge and experience in factory automation is an advantage.
  • Experience in electrical, pneumatic, and sensor component selections.
  • Proficient in Solidworks 3D and EPDM software.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to machine safety and performance (e.g., ISO, IEC standards).
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering principles and techniques.
