Qualifications

• 2+ years of parametric modeling experience in SolidWorks involving fabricated equipment, structures, machinery, or comparable mechanical assemblies.
• 2+ years of experience creating detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
• Strong understanding of fabricated components, weldments, and welding symbols.
• Experience performing or supporting FEA and mechanical analysis.
• Experience with mechanical design, sheet metal, fabricated components, and assemblies.
• Ability to take mechanical designs from concept through detailed, production-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical equipment, assemblies, and fabricated components using SolidWorks.
• Build robust parametric 3D models for multiple design revisions.
• Own the mechanical design of complete machines and equipment packages.
• Produce accurate, detailed fabrication drawings for external fabrication partners.
• Design fabricated steel structures, weldments, sheet metal components, and assemblies.
• Revise models across iterations; apply manufacturing principles.
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, or commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on multiple concurrent projects.
