We provide design services for a broad range of building types across Canada, including health care facilities, labs, commercial, institutional, industrial, hospitality, restaurant, retail, and residential projects.

Position Overview :

We are looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our in-office team in Markham. This role involves detailed mechanical and sprinkler system design and coordination on diverse Canadian building projects. While primarily an in-office position, remote work may be considered over time based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in compliance with OBC, OFC, NPC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and CSA standards
• Prepare mechanical drawings using AutoCAD; (Revit experience is an asset)
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layouts
• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, contractors, and clients
• Assist with permit submissions and construction documentation
• Review and update designs throughout project lifecycle

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–6 years of experience in MEP and / or sprinkler system design
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit / BIM skills are a plus
• Familiarity with Canadian building codes and engineering standards
• EIT or pursuing P.Eng licensure in Canada
• Good command of English in both writing and speaking
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Eligible to work in Canada

Assets :

• Experience with healthcare, commercial, or institutional projects
• Understanding of integrated MEP design and coordination
