Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Graduate to Join our Buildings + Places team in Markham, ON. You will contribute to the design and construction of facilities, focusing on HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems, with opportunities to work on 2D/3D drawings and calculations.

Expected to begin January or May 2027, the role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and clear reporting while allowing growth in design software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Experience with AutoCAD or REVIT is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design and construction administration of facilities.
• Design HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems.
• Perform HVAC calculations using Carrier HAP.
• Create and use Excel spreadsheets for calculations.
• Draft mechanical systems in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation; 3D REVIT.
• Prepare written reports and present results clearly.
