Job summary

Nieco, LLC in Windsor, California is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to bring concepts to production-ready solutions. You will design, develop and optimize mechanical systems for commercial cooking equipment, creating 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You’ll build prototypes, test performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive manufacturability and reliability across the product lifecycle. This on-site role offers growth and impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of mechanical design engineering experience.
  • SolidWorks CAD software proficiency.
  • Experience designing durable, reliable machine systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

What You'll Do

Compensation

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000 annually*



  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, education, training, and business needs.

Work Environment

This position is based at Nieco’s manufacturing facility in Windsor, California. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on‑site and interact regularly with production equipment, prototypes, manufacturing processes, and cross‑functional teams. This is not a remote or hybrid position. Candidates must be able to work on‑site during regular business hours.
