As part of a global talent search, ACCIONA Infrastructure North America is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Construction Coordinator to join one of our major infrastructure projects based in Toronto, Ontario.Job Description
Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
• Managing schedules, budget forecasting, scope of work preparation, procurement, supplies inventory, reviewing drawings, coordinating inputs and deliverables, and maintaining documentation.
• Focus on Safety as paramount priority during all the activities including planning.
• Supports the team compliance with safety requirements.
Drive Documentation Support:
• Independently produce and/or manage existing documentation for Scopes of Work and Work Plans.
Assist with Purchase Requisitions and Commercial Evaluations:
• Assist with procurement activities, including drafting requisitions, conducting vendor evaluations, and supporting technical assessments, assisting throughout the procurement process through to delivery and invoicing.
Apply Independent Project Management Skills:
• Plan and execute tasks independently using strong organizational skills. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures while adapting to project changes.
Foster Effective Communication:
• Employ advanced and professional communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships, addressing concerns and aligning project goals with stakeholder expectations.
Ensure Accurate Project Documentation:
• Utilize professional documentation practices to record, structure, and distribute internal survey meeting minutes. Track action items, clarify technical discussions, and ensure alignment between survey activities and broader project objectives.
• Maintain a systematic filing and revision control process for all related project documents.

Key Competencies:
Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Certifications: EIT or P.Eng. designation is advantageous but not required.
