S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a Summer Student for the Mechanical Assembler - Afternoon Shift, who has a passion for innovation in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will:

• Perform assembly of custom products according to established written work instructions and schematics.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Follow set instructions, job orders, and record information.
• Perform quality checks using tools and gauges and complete checklists.
• Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles.
• Work in a safe environment by keeping self and workstation free from hazards.

Who are we looking for? Someone who:

• Is currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (diploma or degree program).
• Ideally has basic power tool experience; however, no prior experience is required.
• Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
